Ask your client the same question about multiple transactions in Uncat

Let’s say you sync a batch of uncategorized transactions into Uncat and you specifically want to ask your client for receipts on the expenses that exceed $1,000. There are two ways to ask your client.

1.

First, you can add a general purpose note to the top of the Uncat dashboard that your client will see when they click their Magic Link to go to Uncat.

Simply go to Client Settings and type in a Dashboard Note (e.g. “Please attach receipts for expenses above $1,000.”) and click Save.

Your client will see the note at the top of their Uncat dashboard.

2.

Second, you can add a message/note to one transaction in Uncat by clicking on the notes icon in the dashboard and then entering your note. Your client will see the note icon light up in their Uncat dashboard with a number next to it to indicate that there is new message from you to read.

BONUS:

You can apply the same note across multiple transactions in Uncat. Simply select the transactions in your Uncat dashboard and then click on the Actions drop down menu and select Add Note and then enter your note. The client will see the message/note icon light up on all of the selected transactions in their Uncat dashboard.
