First time (or first time in a while) at Xerocon? This should help.

  • Xero fans, get ready to grow and have some fun in the process. This event is definitely for the cool kids in the accounting lunchroom. According to the conference site video, the conference is more like “Coachella for accountants” and “feels like a family; feels like a community.” You’ll get engaging keynotes, a peek at new Xero tools, and the opportunity to talk with other bookkeepers and accountants about cloud accounting and more. Xerocon 2022 features a TEDx Talks alum, Alex Sheen and #1 New York Times Bestselling author, Ben Nemtin.

  • Last year’s event was canceled due to the pandemic, but Xerocon 2022 is back and will be a live, in-person gathering taking place at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center from August 24-25, 2022.

  • This event is made for “cloud accounting leaders” and draws thousands of attendees from across the globe (for reference, 2019’s event drew about 3,300 in Brisbane, Australia). If you’re a current Xero user or partner, you’ll feel right at home, and if you’re exploring cloud accounting, this may be a perfect entry point for you to ask questions and get solid answers from other accounting professionals.

  • Coming off the heels of a canceled conference in 2021, it’s hard to say how many will be in attendance for Xerocon 2022. But judging by past numbers, expect around 3,000 attendees.

  • Tickets are available now in Xerocon’s “second release.” They’re offering a 20% discount through March 1, 2022. That gets you full access to both days’ events and you’ll be invited to a wrap-up party.
