Hi there. This is a quick video showing you how to sync transactions in the Uncat that may actually already be categorized, but that are missing a certain field that you really need or want to be entered in your accounting software.
So the example we've seen most often is a firm that wants to sync in transactions that are missing a class.
So if you have transactions in QuickBooks online, they're missing a class, they might already be categorized, but you need some information back from the client so that they, or you can assign a class to the transaction, just click here on class.
And it will sync in those transactions regardless of what account they're in, in your accounting platform. So that's how you select a class.
If you want the client to be the one that suggests or select a class in Uncat, you can turn on the client superpower setting here and then choose on class that it's visible.
It's editable by the client. They can make a selection. And in this case, we've also taught them on the switch to say that it's required.
That means for each of those transactions missing a class, the client has to choose a class in order to save updates and sync it through to you for your review and into the accounting software.
All right. That's it. Super easy. Thanks for watching.
