Hi there. This is a quick video just covering the client general settings, which is inside client settings in Uncat. So you can choose which accounts you want to sync with.
Uncat Uncat will automatically look for typical uncategorized accounts like uncategorized expense and categorized income. I'm categorized asset, ask my accountant suspense.
You can remove any of these that you don't want to sync. You can also click in this box and choose any account from your chart of accounts that you want to sync with Uncat.
Just below that you can also sync transactions that have been categorized, but that are missing a particular field. So for example, if I click in here, if I also want to bring into Uncat transactions that are missing a class so that I can get feedback from the client on those transactions and appropriately assigned classes, then you can do that right below that you can type in a dashboard notes.
Or for example, you might say, Hey, for any transaction above a certain dollar amount, we really need a receipt. That way your client will see that.
And remember to upload receipts whenever they can. Or you could put, let's have all this wrapped by Friday because we have a board meeting or a tax deadline.
Over here you can enter in accounts that you specifically want to exclude from the account dropdown menu in this client's dashboard or you can choose accounts that you want to specifically include.
So there's two ways to get there. Whichever one is easiest for you, you can exclude certain accounts. If you just want to make sure a couple aren't listed or you can include specific accounts both get you to the same place.
So that's a quick overview of client general settings. All right. Thanks for watching.
